Dr. David Kelly, Researcher in Residence

David joined Intel in 1997 as a Process Engineer in the Thin Films area. He has held various engineering positions in both manufacturing and IQ during the past 13 years. He moved to his current position as a Researcher in Residence in the Innovation for Ireland's Energy Efficiency (I2E2) research centre in 2010. His areas of interest include water conservation and energy efficiency.

David received his B.Sc. in Analytical Science from Dublin City University in 1991 and his Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from Dublin City University in 1996. David completed his post-doctoral research work in Dublin City University focusing on the development of novel sensors for the water industry. In 2010 David received a graduate diploma in Quality Management and Lean Systems from the University of Limerick.
