I2E2 is seen as a great opportunity to deliver efficiencies in a new way,

Industry led – focussed on real problems encountered by manufacturing, results measured through tangible savings. Speed will be an essential ingredient for success Manufacturing in Ireland needs to be lean to remain competitive, I2E2 is seen as an opportunity to leverage the innovative skills of our plant engineers with SMEs and Academics to yield breakthrough energy savings initiatives.

I2E2 will facilitate more in depth sharing of knowledge and will yield a
pipeline of efficiency opportunites. It is hoped that the collaboration with I2E2 and other manufacturing personnel will develop new competences in our engineering personnel which will help them be more innovative in their own area of expertise.
